1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Step Off ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Step Off is a step-tracking challenge app that reads your daily step count from Apple HealthKit and displays it on a shared leaderboard. The App is operated by Lots of Bees.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Step Off.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, including your display name and location.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Manipulate, falsify, or artificially inflate your step count
- Use automated tools or exploits to gain an unfair advantage
- Harass, impersonate, or harm other users
- Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the App
6. Health Data
Step Off reads step count data from Apple HealthKit. We do not use this data for advertising or sell it to third parties. See our https://www.lotsofbees.com/privacy-policy for full details.
7. Leaderboard and User Content
Your display name and step counts are visible to other users of the App. By setting a display name, you grant Lots of Bees the right to display it within the App.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Account tab in the App.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Step Off is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of step data, leaderboard rankings, or uninterrupted service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lots of Bees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
